ABOUT
Oracle Recording Studio is located in The Lodge building at historic artist community Rancho Linda Vista in Oracle, AZ about an hour north of Tucson in the foothills of Mount Lemmon. Austin Owen is the house engineer and producer. The music is recorded and mixed on an analog Soundcraft TS12 console to a 24 track 2" Otari tape machine in an acoustically treated space surrounded by the stunning art collection of Arnold Nelson, 50 year resident of the community who has purchased pieces from almost every resident artist that the community has ever had. The ranch is nestled in the Sonoran high desert lush with cholla, prickly pear, mesquite, oak and cyprus. You can see the milky way every night and there are hiking trails right out the the back door. There is accommodation for up to 8 people and there's even a swimming pool.
